Graduation Source ran into an issue with its website’s homepage. It turned out that 60 percent of visitors couldn’t see product category results on the page.
They also had an underperforming Free Cap & Gown Sample request eating up valuable space.
Inflow’s CRO team did an on-page analysis and found that the average fold fell above where a visitor could see categories or products. This situation made it more difficult for a visitor to take that next step in the conversion process.
Inflow recommended adding a clear audience path to help site visitors. Additionally, a recommendation to reduce the header height made it possible to see an option to shop by category above the fold. Site sales increased 23 percent by reducing the size of the header.
More importantly, replacing the sample request with an audience path reduced requests for samples by 50 percent.
